Chatswood Community Mental Health Centre
 
The above has been closed and relocated (to RNSH) due to minor structural building problems highlighted during an accreditation procedure. See our media release on the news items page. After a number of workshops in late 2004 the Health Service advised mid 2005 that Cremorne will remain and they are looking at ways to move Chatswood back. We need to be vigilant to ensure this happens. At a public forum at Willoughby City Council Chambers on 12 August 2006 resolutions were passed for immediate re-instatement of all community mental health facilities in Chatswood.

Welcome to the Action Foundation

The Action Foundation for Mental Health Inc. is an independent incorporated non-profit organisation and registered charity. The current activities of the Foundation are broadly to:

• Provide suitable psychosocial and skills based programs;
• Promote awareness and provide information regarding mental health;
• Advocate and lobby on behalf of people who suffer or have suffered from a mental health problem;
• Fundraise for programs. Donations over $2 are tax deductible and may be sent to the Foundation by mail.
